By creating an account and using Build A Story, you agree to these terms. Build A Story is a platform for generating and reading personalized, AI-illustrated interactive stories. You may use it for personal, non-commercial reading and entertainment.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be truthful about your age when setting up content controls for a child.
Story text and illustrations are generated by AI. While we work to keep content appropriate to your chosen reading level and intensity settings, AI output can be unpredictable. You are responsible for selecting settings appropriate for any child using the platform. You may not use the platform to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.
Some story lengths and features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Prices are shown at checkout.
You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to access another user's data, reverse-engineer the AI models, or use the service for commercial content generation without permission.
Build A Story is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that every generated story will be free of errors or that the service will be uninterrupted. AI-generated content may occasionally contain unexpected material despite content controls.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email.
